The stay was overall pleasant. we enjoyed a lovely day exploring Beatrix Potter's attraction just down the road and appreciated the hotel’s welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly accommodating toward our large family, including our non-service dog.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could use better maintenance for a more family-friendly experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Windermere Manor Hotel. The family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely large windows that provided a beautiful view of the grounds. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and quick to serve, especially during breakfast, where there was a great variety of delicious food options. While the property is dog-friendly, there was no noticeable evidence of pet hair in the rooms. However, some areas felt a bit dated and could benefit from modernization.

The room felt like it was stuck in a time warp—talk about vintage! Also, the pool towels were playing hide and seek!

missingWrote a review on Aug 29spacious family roomsinviting poolnoise issues
Spacious family rooms provide a decent amount of space for kids and adults alike, making it comfy for family stays. The warm, inviting pool area is a great highlight for downtime after a day of exploring.
Elements like worn bathrooms with a rather hospital-like vibe don’t impress. Noise issues arise from thin walls, allowing sounds from neighboring rooms to disrupt sleep, particularly when guests are rowdy. The breakfast selection is on the limited side, and some dining areas show a need for better cleanliness, which can leave an off-putting impression. the lack of proper sound insulation can be a real bother if you’re trying to enjoy a quiet moment, especially during the night.

Charming vibes, but needs upgrades
The atmosphere was super cozy, and the staff were really friendly, which made a huge difference. The room was clean, but quite small for 2. Breakfast was alright, but they could’ve added fried eggs or something more! Honestly, it felt a bit basic overall.

Great for family getaway
The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed from the start. The swimming pool was a nice touch, even if I forgot to bring the kids’ swimsuits, but I saw plenty of happy faces around the pool.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but for what you get, I’d say it was reasonable.

The spacious family room was perfect for our stay, and the children loved the clean swimming pool. However, the window latch was broken, which made us uneasy during our first night.
